I’ve been testing T.R. Thyroid by T.Man Pharma for last 8 days. So instead of taking 2 grains of Thiroyd (that is 2 tablets of Thiroyd) I’ve been taking 2 tablets of T.Man Thyroid. How do I feel on this new NDT..? Basically I do not feel difference, potency-wise between Thiroyd and TR Thyroid.
What are the differences between T.R. Thyroid by T.Man and Thiroyd by Greater Pharma?
- TR Thyroid is a sugar coated tablet, Thiroyd is not
- Expiry date of TR Thyroid is 4 years since manufacturing date, Thiroyd expiry date is 3 years from manufacturing date.
- TR Thyroid is pink, Thiroyd has a very generic, white-ish color.
- There are rumors that TR Thyroid is lactose free, it is certain that Thiroyd contain lactose
What are similarities between TR Thyroid and Thiroyd
- Both TR Thyroid and Thiroyd contains 60 mg of thyroid extract
- Both TR Thyroid and Thiroid are of porcine origin (they are made of pigs’ thyroids)
- They are both non vegan, non vegetarian, non kosher and not halala. You know, they are made of pig 🙂

Where can I buy tr thyroid, I was taking thiroyd Thai, for a long time, unfortunately it is not working for me any more, I think they have change the ingredients or something. I would like to try TR Thyroid.
It would be interesting if people who have used both Thiroyd and TR would post here…I am curious to find out which one of these drugs is most effective, or if they are equally effective? I have been on Thyroid-S for the past year and it’s OK, but like someone wrote: it does seem to require a good digestive system. TR is so new there seems to be very little information available about it…
I’ve used both – the TR Tman is much better. The potency seems higher to me and it is lactose free, which is important for me as well.
Thank you for your feedback.
In second batch of Real Thyroid, we will use Thyroid USP powder from the same factory that used to supply T.man (producer of TR).
I was taking nature throid but with the shortage I switched to T.r. T-man. After my last labs results the T.r. T-man is actually working a little better for me.
Thanks for your opinion Jessica!
started tr
mannn 9 dys ago feel good but too early to say .
How are you doing now on Tr?
Jessica, could you please elaborate? I’ve been on Erfa but not doing well so have been considering switching to Thai NDT but would need help to figure out which brand…!
I’m not Jessica, but in my opinion the raiting is:
1.Tr Thyroid
2.Thiroyd
3.Thyroid-S
What are the ingredients in the Tr by T.man? Like what colors and other fillers are there in it? If it states on the bottle let me know
Law in Thailand allows companies to not declare inactive ingredients of the medicine. They consider it a trade secret. Saying that, they do not contain Lactose or gluten.
TR mann supposed to be best especially only option for coeliacs
It’s gluten and lactose free, so I guess it’s a good choice.
Can we make sure that this pills are free from prion infection? Is there any guarantee about this in any NTD at all?
TR Thyroid (or any Thai NDT) contains porcine (pig) thyroid extract. Prions are (or were?) an issue related to bovine (beef) products… So you hava a guarantee.
I am trying to discern if either
T.R. Thyroid by T.Man and Thiroyd are mono crystalline cellulose free. I understand Thyroid- s is not
I am a binder.
Thank you.
I really need to know what is in it.
I have been on Thiroyd for years but have recently read it is discontinued so I need to find a new product.
Dear Tanya,
unfortunately thai pharmaceutical companies consider it a trade secret what’s in the tablet, so…
