- Real Thyroid is produced in Vietnam. Thiroyd, Thyroid-S or TR Thyroid were produced in Thailand.
- Real Thyroid contains 60 mg thyroid extract, the same as Thai thyroid extracts.
- Real Thyroid is available, Thai Natural Desiccated Thyroid will soon be unavailable (because their production has been stopped).
- The extract used in Real Thyroid as well as Thiroyd, TR Thyroid or Thyroid-S comes from pigs.
- Real Thyroid has the status of dietary supplement in Vietnam, Thiroyd, Thyroid-S and TR Thyroid were not registered in Thailand as dietary supplements, but medicines.
- In addition to 60 mg (1 grain) of thyroid extract, Real Thyroid contains several additional active ingredients (65 mg dried seaweed, 10 mcg potassium iodide, 3 mcg selenised yeast). Additional ingredients in Real Thyroid were needed to obtain dietary supplement status.
- Real Thyroid, like TR Thyroid, does NOT contain lactose. Thiroyd and Thyroid-S contain lactose.
- The box and tablets of Real Thyroid (Thyroid USP) are larger than Thiroyd, Thyroid-S or TR Thyroid.

It contains small amount of Avicel. The main filler is dextrose though.
